About me
Hi! I’m Clara Becker, a queer and feminist systemic counselor, textile artist, treasure hunter on flea markets, language curious, coffee and cake fanatic, train traveler and wild swimmer.
I am a curious researcher at heart, and I love translating this into my work with individual clients. Let’s get to the bottom of things, let’s find out what lies behind the facade, let’s find the precise things that help you move forward!

I am bringing my own experience to my work, as a queer person and having lived in different countries.
The systemic approach brings together my passion for analyzing societal issues and my curiosity about people, and I’m convinced that we can only help people if we see them as part of their system, their environment and society, and not as alone in their difficulties.
My therapeutic practice is trauma informed and critical of societal structures, capitalism, racism, ableism, patriarchy, environmental exploitation and their effects on our mental well being.
Originally from Germany, I now live in Nantes, France, and work as a systemic counselor in private practice with individuals and groups. I offer sessions in person in a transformed train station, online sessions all over the world and walking sessions in parks. Accessibility of mental health services is very important to me and I try my best to add my part to build a better system. I currently offer sliding scale pricing, and am happy to discuss individual solutions.
Just send me an email at info@clara-becker.com if you have more questions, if you want to connect or book an appointment. I am looking forward to meeting you!

The Trauma of Money Method™ provides compassionate, professional training that explores frameworks for healing both individual and collective trauma—supporting greater financial safety, resilience, and well-being.
Systemic Counselor
The systemic approach assumes that clients are independent and regard them as “experts in their own affairs.” It is characterized by acceptance, empathy, impartiality, and appreciation. Based on the assumption that every person can develop their own solutions, we work with the existing resources and skills of those seeking advice.
